People that use Laser Levels on the job every day
If you are one of the construction professionals that buy and use laser levels, then you know they are time-saving tools, and produce more accuracy with better end results. Whether you're laying tile in a bathroom remodel, hanging kitchen cabinets, building a swimming pool, laying stone pavers for a driveway or sidewalk, building forms for poured concrete, or building foundations and retaining walls, laser levels are your tool of choice when making sure the work is built level. Laser levels used for construction come in various styles. Rotary laser levels, line laser levels, and then plumb or "dot" laser levels are the three main styles of laser levels. Use a rotary laser level when you are mostly outdoors and need the extended range and full circle of work area they provide. Use a line laser mostly in close working conditions, usually inside but not always, and where you are focused on on side of a room or up against a wall as they do not usually cover 360 degrees of work. Then go with a plumb laser , also known as a "dot laser" which simply produces dots of reference and no lines. The dots can be used to align walls, light fixtures, and things like rigging for concert lights. Plumb lasers usually have 3 to 5 dots of reference with many models having a plumb-up and a plumb-down dot beam. Many professionals decide to own one or more styles of laser levels depending on the work they do and construction projects they take on. We at EngineerSupply represent and sell all styles of construction laser levels with many of the top brands available.
